Integrity Massage – Chantelle Williamson

Mindful Living Business – Integrity Massage

As you pull into the designated “client parking spot” (you’ve got your own sign and everything!) for Integrity Massage at Chantelle Williamson’s home at 226 East Texas, make sure you say a quick ‘Hi’ to her furry friends Izzy and Jet – they’ll probably have their noses up against the fence hoping for some loving attention.

integrity-massage-bannerChantelle will greet you at the door and take you into her space.  You’ll start to feel the stress of the day calm away as you step into her warm and comfortable massage room where she not only does traditional massage, but also Ashiatsu (high pressure massage using her feet…it feels wonderful!), hot stone massage, reiki, BodyTalk, energy work, raindrop therapy, and more.

She is dedicated to making sure you feel welcomed and take care of you as she would wish to be treated. Whether you have muscle aches, emotional imbalances or distresses, body/mind/spirit balancing issues, she pulls from her toolbox so you feel refreshed, balanced and connected…and when you leave, you feel relaxed, content, and maybe even a little inspired.

Chantelle’s vision for her business is helping people realize their own divine nature – whether through the body work she performs or the classes she teaches.  “We are more than just muscle and tissue,” she says.

“I like to get my clients to a state of relaxation where the line between them and what is not them dissolves.”

One of her most interesting cases was a PTSD reiki treatment.  She measured her client’s heartbeat with a fitbit before and after the session.  After the treatment, his heart rate had decreased considerably.  He found that reiki with Chantelle was the only therapy he found that has helped him gain relaxation.

Another lady came to Chantelle with skin irritations.  She tracked down the source of the issue with BodyTalk to a situation that was irritating her.  After balancing the situation and her feelings toward that situation, her skin cleared up as well.

In hePhoto Feb 07, 1 10 31 PMr business, Chantelle practices Mindful Living by being aware of all the
surroundings and the complete environment of her space.  She wants her clients to have an easy transition from the outside world to her corner of the world, making it simple for you to slide into a place of relaxation.

Personally, Chantelle is constantly mindful of her body’s need for self care and appreciation.  Whether she needs physical body work by one of her fellow therapists, an creative outlet such as jewelry beading or painting, or walking the dogs for exercise, she makes sure that her pitcher is full.

“You can’t take care of others if you run yourself ragged.  If your pitcher is empty, well you just can’t pour from an empty pitcher  I want to make sure my pitcher is full so I can help others when it’s my turn to give.”
